A familiar landmark - from an unfamiliar angle. Great shot.

GLASGOW BAR INVITES PEOPLE TO DONATE WARM CLOTHES TO HELP HOMELESSNESS
A Glasgow bar is collecting clothes and personal items to help people who are homeless.
And staff at Bananamoon Bar in Great Western Road will be on site tomorrow (Friday March 19) to accept donations from the public.
The team at the Kelvinbridge venue are welcoming gifts of spare jumpers, hats, gloves, jackets - anything that can help people stay warm.
The collections are the idea of bar owner Ahmed Abutoq.
He and his team have put together 200 bespoke boxes containing toiletries, clothing and food to help out those who are struggling the most.
The clothes items will be added and handed out to homeless people on Good Friday.
Maxine Barrie is bar manager at Bananamoon. ,
She said: “This lockdown has made us all realise that while we may be feeling the pinch, there are others who are far worse off than we are.
“We still have a roof over our heads, food on our table and the occasional glass of wine while there are others who have nothing or are struggling with the essentials like heating their home.
“But because of Covid, understandably, we have struggled to find a charity partner to work with so we are now setting up our own charity.
“The first event will be on Good Friday when we will be in George Square handing out the boxes and serving food. Going forward the plan is to do one thing every month whether it is further boxes or staff volunteering their time or something else, we are still trying to decide it.
“Ahmed’s been really keen on this and we have been lucky to get so many businesses involved.
“But we are now asking for your help. If you have spare jumpers, hats, gloves, jackets - anything that can help people stay warm - please bring them along from 2pm to us at Bananamoon tomorrow for our drop off box.”
The team has received support from major supermarkets including Tesco and Sainsbury’s, Poundland, Derek Walker Studio, Hapi Hands and other businesses.
Anyone with spare jumpers and other essentials are urged to contribute to the effort with a two-hour drop pff (between 2pm and 4pm) window at the Glasgow bar on Great Western Road, tomorrow (March 19).

🎥 WATCH | CALL FOR RESIDENTS TO GET INVOLVED IN SPRING FLING 2021
A safe, socially-distanced festival is taking place this month - and there is still time to get involved.
Spring Fling 2021 is celebrating the North Kelvinside community along Queen Margaret Drive.
Shops windows have been decorated and mini-documentaries made to enjoy online.
Local residents are being encouraged to dress up their own windows.
Organiser Brendon McIlroy said there was still plenty of opportunity for residents to get involved.
There will be no crowds and all the content is behind windows or online.
Brendon and his team were filming for the festival this week.
He said: “It’s something to look forward to, something to be part of.
“And it’s very much a participatory event for the community.
“We are inviting members of the community to perform, to be photographers, to do up windows - to be visual artists.
“There are lots of opportunities for people to get involved.
“We are still looking for lots of residents on Queen Margaret Drive to offer to decorate their windows and be part of the Windows of Wonder element.”
Anyone wanting more information can drop organisers a message on their Facebook page.
