Hundreds of people will gather in the West End at the weekend for a Christmas tree ceremony with a difference.
Tracy's Tree was the idea of Jackie Lennox, who lost her much-loved sister Tracey two years ago.
It is the second year she has raised money for a tree outside Maryhill Burgh Halls in memory of her sibling, who was 47 when she died.
Watch: Pipes herald the lighting of Tracy's Tree for a second year in Maryhill.
The switching on ceremony takes place this Saturday (Nov 26) at 6.30pm.
On every one of the baubles is inscribed the name of a loved one in the area who will be missing from family celebrations this year.
Jackie explains: "I'm expecting quite a large turnout as around 200 people attended last year.
"This year 350 baubles have been purchased, each one personalised with the name of a loved one that has passed away."
Jackie's sister Tracy was born with both Spina Bifida and a rare condition called Kyphoscoliosis.
Jackie Lennox:"The tree is also very personal to me as Tracy was my sister, I have set up this in her memory.
"The support from the local community has been amazing."
Both, cause an abnormal curvature of the spine.
Doctors said it was unlikely she would live beyond the age of five.
Jackie says: "There is also a large plaque which goes around the tree, displaying the full name of everyone on the baubles.
