A music event with a difference takes place in the West End of Glasgow later this month.
Organisers say the occasion will be a chance for people to get an understanding of asylum seekers and the conditions they face in the city.
Come In Out Of The Cold takes place on Saturday January 21 at the Glasgow Night Shelter at Anderston Kelvingrove Parish Church on Argyle Street.
The mini-gig will be a chance to chat to people from all backgrounds and nationalities.
Organiser Laura McMahon said the event will show that we are all more alike than we are different.
Laura told Glasgow West End Today: "The guys that use the Night Shelter have no access to public funding or the usual benefit systems for whatever reason and so they are truly destitute and far from home.
"Particularly in the xenophobic atmosphere surrounding Brexit and Trump, I wanted to show that people still care for others and still have more similarities than differences."
She said: "This event will be a chance to share stories, drink tea and eat lovely cakes and biscuits in the warmth and listen to some great music.
"I'm really looking forward to it and to seeing people coming together to share what we have in common rather than focusing on what separates us.
"I feel that this is the only way to move towards peace locally, nationally and globally."
The event is free but people are asked to bring something to eat with your tea: cake, biscuits or snacks.

Donations will be welcome and tickets will be available to purchase for a raffle, including a Whole Foods hamper.
The shelter would welcome donations of new thermal underwear, socks, t-shirts, boxer shorts or good quality (can be second hand) warm coats, hats, scarves or gloves for the guys using the night shelter.
Tinned kidney beans, butter beans, chickpeas, sweetcorn or tuna would also be welcome, say organisers - but only these items please.
