Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor has opened a new dining venue for those who like a little luxury and comfort with their drinks.
The Terrace lounge is open for three days of the week at the landmark hotel on Great Western Road.
It is the latest signature venue to open at the hotel - and follows on the heels of the award-winning gin bar, beGIN.
Hilton say The Terrace offers an elegant and sophisticated lounge with a relaxed atmosphere for hotel guests and local residents.
Guests and non-guests can enjoy afternoon tea service featuring loose leaf tea from Chash, bespoke cocktails, a fine wine list, and Champagne and Prosecco.
It offers lite snacks and more substantial dishes such as gourmet burgers, salads and sandwiches.
The Terrace overlooks the Glasgow Botanic Gardens and Byres Road.
Walled with windows, Hilton say "the lounge offers the perfect place to enjoy good conversation with friends whilst watching the buzz of Glasgow’s vibrant West End".
Natin Ramtri is the hotel general manager at Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor.
He said the venue was something a little different for the West End, which would be popular for groups and special occasions.
“Following the success of our new gin bar, beGIN, which was recently awarded as Glasgow’s Best Pub/Bar of the Year 2017, we felt there was an opportunity to create another unique destination for social drinks and dining.
“The Terrace offers an alternative to the crowded bar scene with plenty of comfortable seating.
"It also includes a semi-private curtained area for group celebrations, where guests will enjoy table service so they can spend the evening with friends without standing in line all night for drinks.”
The Terrace is currently open 5pm to 1am on Fridays, 12pm to 1am on Saturdays and 12pm to 5pm on Sundays.
Guests are encouraged to pre-book for afternoon tea service to avoid disappointment.
