Actor and director David Hayman led hundreds of people on a torchlight walk through the West End.
The procession braved icy conditions and bitterly chilly temperatures to celebrate St Andrew’s Day.

Proceeds from the night will go to Spirit Aid, David's charity that works to help children and young people in need.
David said: “Tying in with the festival has been a great way of getting involved in Glasgow’s community events this winter.
"We’re so pleased Spirit Aid can raise awareness of its work and raise some money to help the ongoing efforts of the charity, improving lives of young people.”
It was the second year the event has been staged thanks to the people behind the West End Festival.
The occasion was supported by Scotland’s Winter Festivals, Glasgow City Council and Byres Road and Lanes BID.
Liz Scobie, WEF’s chairman said: “We were delighted to receive support from EventScotland through the Scotland’s Winter Festivals programme to be part of this winter’s activity in Scotland.
“The torchlight parade is a great way for everyone to take part in St. Andrew’s Day celebrations and is true to St. Andrew, with his community spirit.
“We’re thrilled that the second torchlight parade has been a success and so many joined us tonight.”

The West End Festival says it is committed to the ongoing development of community activity in Glasgow and the West End.
Organisers say they have already started to make plans for the main festival in June 2018.
