Detectives have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with two break-ins at bar-restaurants in Glasgow.
The first incident was on Monday July 31 at Yes Bar in Drury Street, when someone forced their way into the building - but nothing was stolen.
The second incident took place on Sunday October 15 this year at Rioja, Argyle Street, Finnieston.
This time there was forced entry to the premises - and a significant sum of cash was stolen.
The man police want to speak to is described as white, 5’8” in height and of heavy build.
He was wearing a flat cap, & Green Parka-style jacket.
Police are also looking to trace a distinctively marked silver Renault Master van seen in the area at the time of the second incident.
Police Constable Stephen Findlay is with Greater Glasgow Division’s Community Investigation Unit.
He said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed either of these incidents, or who has information that may assist the continuing police investigation.
"I would also urge anyone who recognises the man or the van in the CCTV images to contact the Community Investigation Unit at Helen Street Police Office through 101."
