Better the Devilry … magician to explore our darker thoughts at Websters Theatre

Magician Ryan K. Davidson returns to the stage at Websters Theatre in Glasgow this October with his new one-man show Devilry.

Magician Ryan K. Davidson returns to the stage in Glasgow this October with his new one-man show 'Devilry'.

The outing at Websters Theatre follows his successful 16 month sell-out run of Little Mysteries in the city's Grand Central Hotel.

Based on true events, the show explores our darker thoughts and experiences in a series of short vignettes, each one an experiment in devilry.

Expect plenty of audience participation, story telling and unbelievable demonstrations of influence, control and mind reading over an hour long performance.

The show opens in The Websters Theatre on 2 October and runs for three nights.

'Exciting project'

Ryan said: "This is a really exciting project.

"I usually perform quite small, intimate shows so this is my biggest project in terms of audience size.

"The show is themed around the idea of devilment and the things that make good people do bad things.

"I think people will be able to relate to it.

"It's a very different show to what people might have seen me do before.

"It's been a huge challenge and that's why it's happening.

'Pushed myself'

"I've really pushed myself out-with my comfort zone and hopefully that pays off.

"This is a one off project. The show will only be performed for 3 nights and that's it.

"I'll never do this show or anything like it again."

Tuesday has sold but tickets are available for Wednesday & Thursday. Shows are at 7pm & 9pm.

The show is not suitable for anyone under the age of 12. Running time 70 mins.
