A giant outdoor food and drink venue is to be created at SWG3's Galvaniser's Yard on Eastvale Place.
The West End music and arts venue says it is ready to go with plans - just as soon as the Scottish government gives the go-ahead for bars and venues to reopen outside spaces.
The venue tweeted its intent on Wedsnesday afternoon.
Ministers are expected to outline the country's move into Phase 2 of the journey out of lockdown on Thursday.
The social media post read: “Whilst our usually vibrant site has been laying low we have been busy planning how and when SWG3 can return to serve you.
“The Scottish Government have indicated that outdoor bars and restaurants will be able to trade in Phase two and we are prepped and ready to do so.
“At this stage we can confirm that we plan to fully utilise our 25,000 sq ft outdoor Galvanizers Yard.
"The space will be transformed into an outdoor food and drinks venue, with music and a backdrop of evolving graffiti walls.
“Customers will be able to pre-book tables in advance and will order table service via our bespoke SWG3 app.
"The new venue will be open every Thursday – Sunday from 12 noon – 10pm. More details will be revealed very soon.”
Safe seating
On Tuesday, the owners of the Rotunda restaurant in Finnieston unveiled its plans for a giant beer and food garden.
The Cranside Kitchen would have safe seating for 200 drinkers and outside diners.
Food would be available from five local restaurants.
The city's hospitality industry is thinking of new ways it can safely reopen to the public.
Licensees across the city are preparing applications for occasional licences to make use of outside space.
Marc Ferrier at The Thornwood bar in Partick said he would be looking to increase the number of drinkers he can accommodate outside his pub.
Nicola Sturgeon is expected to set out how Scotland's massive food and drink industry can start to move forward.
