Man, 30, threatened with knife and robbed in Broomhill

The suspects approached the 30-year-old on Crow Road, near to Broomhill Drive

A man was threatened with a knife and robbed by two men in Broomhill.

The suspects approached the 30-year-old on Crow Road, near to its junction with Broomhill Drive at Broomhill Cross.

They threatened the man with a knife and demanded money and property from him.

The men ran off towards Broomhill Drive.

The incident happened around 5.45am on Thursday October 7.

Both suspects are white, around 5 ft. 11 inches in height and are in their mid-twenties. 

One had blond hair and was wearing a green hooded top and dark coloured trousers.

The other had short brown hair, with a blue/red hooded top and dark coloured trousers.

Detectives are gathering a number of CCTV images to get more information on the suspects.

Detective Constable Joe Keith said: “I’m confident we will be able to identify these two men, however, I would still like to ask the public for their help. 

“If you were in that area yesterday morning, please think back, did you see anything, did you see the two men run off.
