It started in Bristol three years ago - and now a magical community street trail is being staged in Maryhill.
Window Wanderland transforms everyday neighbourhoods into outdoor galleries where houses adorn their windows with spectacular artwork.
Around 30 addresses have said they will dress up their windows for the evening walk in the Maryhill Park area.
The event is taking place on Saturday 10 March from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.
A similar event has been held in Strathbungo on the city's south side to great acclaim from the local community.
Organisers of the Maryhill event - the Friends of Maryhill Park - say all kinds of delights are being created to brighten up the winter night.
There will be a screening of archive films of old Maryhill on the night - and a few other surprises along the way.
Local organiser Sarah Howitt said: “We’re really looking forward to our first Window Wanderland.
"We’ve watched the success of our friends in Strathbungo and have been inspired.
"We’re a small compact area of quiet streets just like our pals on the south side, so we think we’re ideally placed to host an event like this.
"Maryhill Park is a friendly area, and our organisation Friends of Maryhill Park has been running a successful Summer Fair for four years now.
"This will be our first foray into an evening event."

Local people can also sign up to make a display - with plenty of inspiration on the website, say organisers.
Maps can be collected at Maryhill Burgh Halls and at various venues on Caldercuilt road on the night of the event.

Window Wanderland first took place in 2015.
It is an event designed to bring people together in a way that is "active, inclusive, beautiful and, above all, fun".
It is free, non-religious, and say organisers, appealing to people of any age or culture.
In Glasgow, Strathbungo’s event has been a huge success for the last two years.
