Too Good To Go connects businesses that have unsold food with consumers who can save surplus food from going to waste.

It means Too Good To Go customers can rescue handmade sandwiches, salads, wraps, paninis, cakes and pastries from all six of Tinderbox’s stores across Glasgow.

Consumers simply download the free Too Good To Go app and search for nearby restaurants and retailers with leftover food.

They then purchase the food for a great price through the app, and collect it from the store.

Carlo Ventisei, managing director at Tinderbox, said: “Tinderbox has been serving the local Glasgow community since 1998.

"We have seen many changes during that time, some for the better and some for the worse and we can without a doubt say that 'Too Good To Go' is one of the best things we have seen happen and one that we are delighted and proud to be involved with – help reduce food waste.”

Jamie Crummie, co-founder of Too Good To Go UK, said: “We’re excited to welcome Tinderbox to the Too Good To Go offering in Glasgow.

"Tinderbox is a brilliant local brand and we know our Waste Warriors will enjoy saving delicious food from their six stores.

"We’re all about reducing food waste because of the impact it has on our planet so we’re always looking to grow, bringing on more partners and welcoming more consumers to the food waste movement.
