Police seize drugs worth £60,000 following intelligence-led raid on address in Knightswood

A 21-year-old man has been arrested after drugs worth £60,000 were found at a property in Knightswood.

The haul was found at an address in Dyke Road following an intelligence-led search at 9pm on Friday May 27.

Police Scotland said officers had executed a warrant at the address when the drugs were found.

During the search, 43.9 grams of cocaine, 181 grams of cannabis and 60,000 diazepam tablets were discovered.

Arrest: A man 21 was detained and arrested following the police operation on Friday night.

Together they are worth an estimated street value of £60,000.

A 21 year old man has been arrested and detained in connection with alleged drugs offences.

Inspector Neil MacDougall said: “Drug dealing has no home in our community and we will continue to act on any information received to target offenders and show them that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated.

“This was a significant recovery which has reduced the potential harm which could have been caused by these drugs, both in Glasgow and beyond.
