His partner Marc Bates also from London and his family are increasingly concerned over his absence.

They say Phil is not in trouble but are desperate for him to get in touch.

Marc's appeal on Twitter reads: "Phil Nicol, my beloved partner, has now been missing since 1st March.

"Please RT to #FindPhilNicol. He's 47, 6' tall, bald, blue eyes + warm smile.

"He does love Glasgow and visited a several times," says Marc.

"He doesn’t know anyone there, and that makes me think that’s exactly where he might go to get away from everything.

"He’s not in any trouble, just want to know he’s ok (and to have him home).

"I think Glasgow affords him the chance to go unnoticed."

TIRELESS SUPPORTER

Phil is mostly bald, with a short grey/blond beard, bright blue eyes, a warm smile and engaging nature.

He was working part-time with his Marc’s business but was keen to work again in the charity sector.

Phil was a tireless supporter of helpline London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard, and it was there that he met partner Mar in 2006.

Phil is asked to contact the Missing People charity on 116000 (Call. Text. Anytime. Free. Confidential).
